Bryan Alistair Charles is the author of three books, the novel Grab on to me tightly as if I Knew the Way (Harper Perennial, 2006), the memoir There's a road to everywhere except where you came from (Open City/Grove, 2010), and Wowee zowee (Bloomsbury, 2010), a book about Pavement written for the 33 1/3 series.
